Access Wesleyan's Archives!

October is Georgia Archives Month and this year's theme is all about accessible archives. Every week in October, I will be sending out an email showcasing one of our collections and talking about how we are working to make the Wesleyan College Archives more accessible to everyone. We have been working hard on getting the yearbooks, literary magazines, student newspapers, alumnae magazines, and college catalogs digitized and available on the Internet Archive. This will allow you to search these items from anywhere, at anytime. We have also started to create some online galleries to show off some of the items in our collections. We have pages for the sororities, our bookplate collection, the glass plate negative collection, and coming soon, pages about the Rivoli Campus, and our scrapbooks.

All of these can be accessed through our Wesleyan College Archives & Special Collections LibGuide. You can also follow the Wesleyan College Archives on Instagram.

The Archives are open Monday - Friday 1:00pm-5:00pm, or by appointment. Please contact the Archivist, Virginia Blake for more information.

About Wesleyan College

Wesleyan draws a wonderfully eclectic mix of women – about 700 in all – from across the United States and more than twenty countries, bringing to campus a multitude of backgrounds and ethnicities. Wesleyan students choose to study here because they want to test their limits. The bar is set high because our students demand it. First for Women isn’t just a claim to fame - it’s a philosophy that explains why Wesleyan women continue to make history today.  Read More
