Wesleyan College has received gold in the Macon Telegraph’s annual “Best of Middle Georgia” competition for the best college/university within the education category.

As Wesleyan College continues to engage with the middle Georgia community and beyond, the institution says it will remain dedicated to advancing women in their careers.

"As the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women, it’s a true honor to receive this distinction. Wesleyan College has been accelerating equality for women since 1836. With our renewed vision and energy, we are well positioned to pursue our goal of achieving gender parity in our lifetime.”

Wesleyan College President, Meaghan Blight

Wesleyan offers 24 majors and 37 minors, including self-designed interdisciplinary studies, eight pre-professional programs, a Bachelor of Science in nursing, and five graduate degrees (open to men and women).
