President Meaghan Blight reflects on her three years of leadership at Wesleyan College and the journey that brought her family from Canada to Macon. Inspired by the women in her own family, she shares her commitment to removing barriers so women can achieve their goals.

Under her leadership, Wesleyan has experienced a 148% increase in deposits since last year, transitioned athletics from NCAA Division III to the NAIA — allowing the College to offer athletic scholarships — and expanded recruitment efforts at the NAIA level. The College has also added new athletic programs, including women’s wrestling, ice hockey, cheer and dance, and flag football, along with the forthcoming renovation of Porter Gym.

During her recent interview with The Creek FM, she also discusses the impact of the SHE WILL campaign and how supporters can give to advance Wesleyan’s mission.
