Wesleyan College is Hiring an Executive MBA Program Director


Wesleyan College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the associate professor level beginning January 6, 2020, to teach in the Business Administration program and direct the Executive MBA program. The qualified applicant will have a Ph.D. in Business from an accredited university, at least five years of university teaching experience, a demonstrated record of academic excellence in the classroom, a productive research program, and excellent organizational skills.


Wesleyan College, a four-year national liberal arts college for women, is a leader and innovator in women’s education. The first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women, Wesleyan’s academically challenging, inclusive environment helps prepare women to live purposeful and connected lives. The Business Administration program at Wesleyan has four concentrations: Sport Management, Health Care Administration, Strategic Management, and Organizational Behavior. The ideal candidate will be able to teach across the major. The teaching load for the position is 18 credits per year, with at least one class in the MBA program. All faculty are expected to engage in scholarship and in service to the College.


The Executive MBA program has for over 20 years educated men and women business leaders in global business best practices. The Director will be responsible for overseeing recruiting, admissions, curriculum development and assessment, advising, budget management, hiring and evaluating faculty teaching in the program, student support, and campus advocacy for the program.
