October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and all profits from Women With Purpose will go to Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia to support their domestic abuse program and sexual assault center. Facebook event page for Women with Purpose.
October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Wesleyan is proud to host United in Pink’s 4th Annual Flamingo Fest 5K and 1 mile fun-run, Saturday morning 8:30 - 11:00. Race starts at 9:00AM. Participants can enjoy a community fall festival, entertainment, awards, Kids Zone filled with inflatables, vendor tents, expo, and beginning at 1:00PM, Women With Purpose.
